Laaandon with Jen

So, Usually Im not a huge fan of cities, and particularly London. The hustle and bustle, ignorance, tourists, pedestrians, traffic, and lack of green spaces isn't really my thing. However, when needs must and a trip to London is needed I just put on my adventuring head and try to enjoy it.

This trip was made easier with my aide, Jen Jen, my childhood best friend and still currently holds that status, despite lax communications between us at times.

The fun part of the adventures started with pizza! Which was yummy and well needed, somehow we managed to get a table for 3, in a busy restaurant - we weren't complaining but the three suits that were sat on a table for 2 might have had something different to say! Regardless, the waitress took a photo of us both after despite minimum protests!

Such a cute non couple! Or not! To be honest the pizza is yummier than us!! :P after the pizza it was exploration time!

We took a wander around to many different places, markets, vintage shops, down the road less travelled avoiding tourist area's to begin with. We even managed to find an area with some grass and tree's which was refreshing in a concrete jungle!

A trip to the palace, and a potential sighting of queenie was exciting! Along with the eye, Embankment, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament & Westminster Abbey were all included on our adventure!

All in all, an enjoyable day being a visitor to our biggest city was had, jumping on and off the tubes, sightseeing and good company made this day something slightly different to the norm, in territory Im unfamiliar with, I don't think I'm ever going to fall in love with the place the outdoors is definitely my thing!

Until the next adventure - peace out!
